About Me at Jeanmarie’s Fingerprinting Service and Notary Services

I never started out with the dream of becoming a fingerprint technician, or having my own independent and licensed fingerprinting service. I was a stay at home mom, entertaining the idea of going back to work. My best friend Sue, had just been hired for the Everett School District, and needed a set of fingerprints for her new job. She went to Everett Police Station and her experience was not a pleasant one. In fact, she would share with me, it was uncomfortable, the police officer was rude, and made the comment. “I wish someone else would do this”. It was in that moment, I said ok, I will.  The rest they say is history.

I knew that I could make the necessary process of getting your fingerprints taken, a more comfortable and pleasant experience. Perhaps, even enjoyable.
In 1998, I took my training with the Washington State Patrol and Jeanmarie’s Fingerprinting Service, was established.

I had no idea at that time, where this company would take me, the people I would meet, and the companies I would work for. I work for major Fortune 500 companies in our region to the couples looking to adopt their first baby. My personal favorite.
Being a professional fingerprint technician is not rocket science, however, a high degree of technique and skill are required. Getting them right the first time is imperative for those renewing a license for real estate, renewing a visa, or adopting a child. It is that skill, that allows me to state with absolute confidence, I am one of the best.
In 2018, I decided it was time to expand my services and now can also do notary services.
What was true back in 1998 is still true today. Going to the local police station to get fingerprinted is inconvenient, unreliable, and often unpleasant. I remain the most flexible with the longest available hours in the region. My mission statement for the past 20 years still stands. Be flexible, do a great job and make their experience a positive one.
